Starting a business is EXCITING. It brings creativity, passion, focus, and of course a little bit of hard work into the mix. Below is a 'mud map' of sorts, to help guide you through the process of transforming your idea into a tangible product and finally, into the business world. Most importantly, remember to have fun - It's not a race to start your own business, but a journey that can lead to personal satisfaction, and of course, a little extra pocket money. Step 1: CREATE

Ideas are most often sprung from organic moments, through playful discussions with friends and family, or you may simply see a solution to a problem! If you are passionate about your idea, the 'hard work' of creating a business will seem so much easier, as you are doing exactly what you want to do, instead of 'swimming upstream' so to speak. If you can make a prototype at a reasonable cost (money and time), and it serves a purpose (functionality or aesthetics), then you are half way there. Bounce the idea/prototype around with your family or close friends, and see if it can be refined or improved. Once you're happy with your test piece, it may be time to take the next step.
Step 2: LAUNCH
To consider launching your product on BIZZYKIDS, it would be sensible business practice to make sure that you have considered things like originality, cost of production, replicability, quality control and product safety - just to name a few. After making sure that you are ready for launch, placing your products online with us is easy!
Simply email us with a few photos (it is very important that your photos highlight your products features in a great light), and a blurb about your item that lets your customers know what it is, how to use it and any other information they might need. Shortly after, once we have all the information we need to list, your shop will be live, and you can start to take orders!

Step 3: GROWTH

In the growth phase, after you have made a few sales, you will naturally have a deeper insight into how your business is functioning. Perhaps you have ideas on how to grow your business, or how to make your business more efficient.
Marketing refers to your overall strategy to grow your business in relation to your target market. Ways in which you can reach a larger audience translates to more potential customers.
Increasing business efficiencies may relate to ways in which you can make your products in less time, or at a cheaper price, however the quality of your final product is extremely important. Just imagine yourself as a customer, and you will know how to balance these production fundamentals.
Step 4: BEYOND
Building your brand is a long term goal, yet a valuable one. It aligns your product image in the minds of your customers, with a positive thought or emotion. It holds intrinsic value or equity, and places your product ahead of your competitors through this brand awareness.
